Summer School 2013

Summer School 2013: Another Amazing Year!

Thank you to all of the 500+ feminists who came together from across the UK for a unique weekend of hands-on training in taking action for gender equality. It was another amazing year with contributions from some of the foremost feminist activists and campaigners of our time.

The weekend involved hands-on workshops,  panel discussions on how to organise for gender equality and opportunities for attendees to share their own skills in the Open Space Sessions. Contributors included: Campbell X, Million Women Rise, No More Page 3, Southall Black Sisters and many more…

We even had Feminist Artist Sarah Maple lead an exciting project throughout the event and a musical treat in the form of a flashmob from those who took part in “Summer School Sings” led by Shilpa Shah!
