Over 200 women and men joined UK Feminista and OBJECT to say ‘no’ to Playboy on 4th June as the notorious Hugh Hefner hosted the gala opening night of his new club in London’s Mayfair.
UK Feminista joined forces with OBJECT to protest against the return of the Playboy Club to London, which opened on Saturday 4th June. Playboy is an international pornography empire, and its return to the high street works to legitimise a brand that has amassed hundreds of millions of pounds by sexually exploiting women.
That’s why over 200 women and men went along to the club’s opening night to tell Hugh Hefner exactly what they thought of him and his club.
