Host an event

Support us by hosting a UK Feminista event!

We’re looking for hosts to provide venues for the following events. This is a crucial way of supporting our work.

Regional Gatherings

In February/March 2012 our newly recruited Regional Organisers will be holding regional gatherings for activists in the area to come together, build links, and share ideas and strategies for change.

Venue requirements:
• Located in a town or city with good transport links
• One main room with capacity for up to 100 people
• Two – three smaller rooms for break-out sessions

Summer School 2012

The Summer School is one of UK Feminista’s flagship national events, providing two days of training and inspiration for grassroots campaigners.

Venue requirements:
• Good transports links from across the UK
• One main room with capacity for 400+ delegates
• Five smaller rooms for break-out sessions
• Cheap local accommodation (this could be a halls of residence or large hall for ‘crash pad’ sleeping)

FEM 12

FEM 12 will be UK Feminista’s 2012 national conference, bringing together over 1000 campaigners, academics and politicians to debate the key issues facing women today.

Venue requirements:
• Good transports links from across the UK
• One main room with capacity for 800+ delegates
• At least five smaller rooms for break-out sessions
